Jorie Fawcett, editor of The Vanderbilt Hustler
Jorie Fawcett, a junior majoring in Secondary Education and Sociology from Tiffin, Ohio, is the Editor-in-Chief of The Vanderbilt Hustler, Vanderbilt’s student-run newspaper.
Inside VSC: “I manage a staff of over 200 writers and editors, give final edits for clarity and content, and work with the Vanderbilt community to report on the issues that matter and reflect our community.”
Beyond VSC: When not reporting, Jorie enjoys being creative, reading celebrity memoirs, and taking walks around Centennial Park.
Looking Ahead: “In 10 years, I want to be working in higher education administration and hopefully publish a book! I started writing in middle school for a creative writing team, and I would really like to get back to my creative side within writing and reporting.”
