Congratulations to Zhubin Parang, ’03, a Vanderbilt Student Media Hall of Famer, for his recent Emmy win as supervising producer for The Daily Show with Trevor Noah.

This marks Parang’s third Emmy win with the show.

Parang returned to campus in the fall when he participated in an alumni chat with editors of The Slant, VSC’s student-run humor and satire publication.

While Parang attended Vanderbilt, he wrote for The Hustler student newspaper and Orbis, a bi-weekly publication for liberal and progressive views that began in 2001.

You can read more about Parang on our Hall of Fame page and in this 2020 Q&A from The Hustler. Parang was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2017.
